Volunteering
Coach
Every Team requires a Coach. These are volunteer positions and a big commitment! Coaches are required to complete mandatory training from NSWRL and hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) obtained via Service NSW.

Team Manager
Every Team should have a Manager. This person coordinates the group / team chat with relevant info, organises Team Sheets /sign ons weekly, ensures Jerseys are washed & handed out on game days, ensures a Team volunteer/parent assists in the Canteen on home game days and more! This role must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) obtained via Service NSW.
Trainer
Every team should have a Trainer / Water runner. This person is required to complete a mandatory online training course titled 'LeagueSafe'. Access the course here - NRL Learning Centre - 2025 LeagueSafe

We refer to this position as a YELLOW SHIRT. This role must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) obtained via Service NSW.
Committee Member
What does a Committee member do? They attend our regular meetings at Anna Watson Pavilion, Ron Costello Oval Shellharbour and have their say in Club’s decisions and hear about what’s happening. You do not need to take on an Executive role, or have tasks assigned to you unless you want to. All new members are welcomed!
First Aid Officer
Ideally we would like every team to have a qualified First Aid Officer. You must complete a NSWRL First Aid course titled 'League First Aid'. The Club pays for you to attend this course to be qualified - it is an in person course (usually 1 or 1.5 days).
NRL Learning Centre - Catalogue

This role is referred to as a GREEN SHIRT. Your assistance with First Aiding at games other than your own team's is expected to assist Club / game day operations. This role must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) obtained via Service NSW.
Canteen Helper
Every Saturday during the season we host games at our home grounds and need 1 or 2 people from every Team playing at home that day to volunteer 30 or 60 mins in the canteen. We publish a sign on sheet online via our social media every week for this so look out for it & sign yourself up to assist in the canteen on Saturdays!
